Australians for Native Title and Reconciliation (ANTaR) is a broad coalition of organisations and individuals who believe that the legitimate rights of Aboriginal Australians, as confirmed in the High Court's Wik judgement are in danger of being taken away and that this action would leave Australia, in the words of our Governor General, Sir William Deane, "a diminished nation". A Citizens' Statement petition can be signed on-line at: http://www. austlii.edu.au/unsw/ centres/ilc/wik_petition.html or it can be downloaded from this site and sent hard-copy. If you would like to view the petition results, click here.
