AUSTRALIAN STUDIES, the journal of the British Australian Studies Association (BASA), is undergoing radical and exciting changes. Its editors are pleased to announce the recent signing of a contract with Frank Cass Ltd, who will now produce and distribute the journal on behalf of BASA.
Henceforth, AUSTRALIAN STUDIES appears twice-yearly (Summer and Winter) with publication alternating between themed and general issues. Themed issues are based on the interests of particular editors, or generated by the proceedings of BASA's biennial conferences. Scholarly contributions to both general and themed issues are welcomed. AUSTRALIAN STUDIES will also carry a substantial review section offering a regular survey of new material in the field of Australian Studies.
